Biography - Diane Birk
Approximately 85% of my business is through repeat and referred clients, and referrals from other REALTORS® across Canada. I take a direct, hands-on approach to working with buyers and sellers, and do not employ the "team concept". I feel that you deserve to work with the REALTOR® that you hired, and I like to be directly involved with you throughout the process of buying or selling a home. My past clients appreciate my direct honesty, thorough diligence, and always putting their needs first.
I have specialized in residential real estate in Vancouver’s Westside, since 1994. Throughout my career, have built a reputation of high ethical standards, impeccable business practices, and professionalism. I have been consistently recognized as a top producer with Royal LePage:
Award of Excellence (consistent top 10% award status) - 2010
Director's Platinum (top 5%) - 2006, 2009
President's Gold (top 6-10%) - 2004, 2005, 2007, 2013, 2016, 2018
Master Sales (top 11-20%) - 2000, 2001, 2003, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2017
Sales Achievement (top 21-25%) 1999, 2010, 2015
I have extensive experience in the complexities of Strata titled properties, and understand the challenges and rewards of strata living, having served on my Strata Council both as President and Vice-President for 7 years.
I have served on various volunteer committees with Royal LePage, and the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, as I believe in giving back. A portion of each sale goes to The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Canada's largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women's shelters and violence prevention programs.
On a personal note, I live in South False Creek, and love the lifestyle that this unique and quiet seaside neighborhood offers. I am a "farm girl" at heart, having grown up on a farm outside of Edmonton, Alberta. I've always said that farm life shapes a person's character - it takes a lot of hard work and enormous responsibility. Living in a small community where neighbors help each other instills a pure honesty and trust that I have carried with me throughout my life. I made Vancouver my home in 1987, and have worked in the real estate industry ever since.
